Earlier this week, Disney released more information about the lounge that will be built inside the vacant space next to Spaceship Earth in EPCOT. The lounge will be named GEO-82, clearly a play on the geometric shapes that make up EPCOT’s most iconic structure as well as the year the theme park opened (1982). According to Disney, you will feel like you are sitting in an all-new part of Spaceship Earth. The lounge’s rich textures and metallic tones are upscale and intimate… the perfect place to enjoy innovative cocktails and small plates influenced by cultures worldwide.
Again, GEO-82 will be for adults only. You need to be age 21+ to enter the establishment, so you could say this one is strictly for the grown and sexy. Artist renderings include windows with a direct view of fireworks above World Showcase Lagoon, which makes sense as those windows do indeed face World Showcase. We at MouseHouseNews.net expect this lounge to be something that will be available as an Advance Dining Reservation (ADR) given the popularity the lounge is sure to have.
