Magic Kingdom’s Happily Ever After is CHANGING

When you visit a Walt Disney World theme park, your experience is different from everyone else’s. In fact, your experience one visit is likely different from your experience the very next visit. Which rides you ride, the shows you watch, and the foods you eat could be completely different from one trip to the next. One experience that many have in common, however, is to watch the fireworks shows at the end of the day (at the parks that have fireworks, at least). For the past couple of months, Magic Kingdom visitors would gather around Main Street U.S.A. at 8:00 PM to end their night watching the fireworks show Happily Ever After. Starting tomorrow, that will change.

As happens every year, Spring is bringing about longer days. Add the start of daylight savings time to the mix, and it is a bit harder to watch fireworks at 8:00. With the time of sunset changing, Walt Disney World is also shifting the show time for Happily Ever After. Starting tomorrow, March 9th (also the first day of daylight savings time), you can catch Happily Ever After at 8:30 PM.

Happily Ever After will remain at this show time for a few weeks. However, the show time will change again at the end of the month. Starting Sunday, March 30th, the show time will move back another half-hour to 9:00 PM. It will remain at 9:00 for most of the Spring and Summer.

If you are at Walt Disney World, don’t forget to observe the time change tonight and set your manually adjusting clocks forward one hour. You won’t want to show up late to the fireworks show tomorrow! For more tips to help you plan your Disney World trip, stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net.
