One of the best parts of planning a trip to Walt Disney World is securing those advance dining reservations, or ADRs, at sixty days prior to your check-in date. After all, this is the time when all of those dining spots on your wish list are confirmed (or not). However, it is quite the bummer to find out that something on your wish list is simply unavailable during your trip. The MouseHouseNews.net crew just discovered that if you have a trip to Walt Disney World this spring, specifically in March, a very popular restaurant at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel will be closed.
Sebastian’s Bistro serves family style dining at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. The food will transport you straight to the Caribbean with dishes such as Mojo Pork, Grilled Chili-Rubbed Beef, Citrus Chicken, Candied Plantains, Cilantro Rice and Beans, and more! As this restaurant is family style, you get an opportunity to try all the things delivered right to your table, and you can request more of anything you run out of. It is a prix-fixe menu, so you’ll pay one price for dinner (which is the only meal they serve).
However, beginning March 24, 2025, Sebastian’s Bistro will be closing. Disney has listed refurbishment as the reason for the closure. Keep this in mind if you plan to visit Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in late March, as you might see and hear construction activities in the area during this time. A quick look at the dining reservation calendar for Sebastian’s Bistro reveals that reservations are unable to be made for March 24 – March 28. However, reservations open again for March 29, 2025.
Keep in mind that these refurbishments sometimes go longer than expected, so it may be necessary for any advance reservations made on a date shortly after the planned re-opening to be canceled if the construction is not completed on time.
