How would you like a perk where you can play in the theme parks at Walt Disney World beyond the posted operating hours? Yes, please! It is well known that if you stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and other select hotels, you can get Early Theme Park Entry. This means you are able to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes before guests who are not staying at these hotels. However, there is a lesser known perk available to guests staying at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts & Villas, as well as a few other select hotels. For guests of these hotels, there is Extended Evening Theme Park Hours!

Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is only available at specific theme parks and on specific dates. The big difference, however, is that you will get a full two hours in the park at the end of the night! Therefore, when all of the other guests are returning to their hotels, you are able to remain in the park and ride all of the available rides with significantly reduced lines and crowds.
Generally, there are two nights per week when Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered. However, this can occasionally change, so you will want to check Disney’s park schedule for the week(s) you plan to visit. Historically, there are Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at EPCOT on Mondays. Most of the year, there are Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at Magic Kingdom on Wednesdays. However, there are certain times of the year when the Magic Kingdom event is relocated to either Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, and the day of the week changed to Thursdays. It is good to note that Disney Transportation will still run between the theme park offering Extended Evening Hours and the eligible hotels for this event.

To gain admission to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, you must have a valid admission to the theme park that day, so be sure to bring your MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World card with you. Below is the current list of hotels that qualify for the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours perk.
