Nothing beats the feeling of arriving at Walt Disney World for the very first day of your Disney trip. Checking in to your Walt Disney World Hotel and seeing all of the magical theming is one of the best feelings in the world. For those arriving to Walt Disney World in 2025 and staying at one of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, a new perk ensures you start off your vacation with a splash!
Disney has updated their MyDisneyExperience website for those checking into a Disney owned hotel in 2025 with a notation, listed on the date of their check in, that you get free waterpark admission on the day you check in. So, now you will see if you qualify for this new perk starting in the new year! Please note that this perk is only for the day of your check in, so you’ll want to arrive early in the day to make the most of this free water park admission. The two water parks this perk applies to are Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. Ever since the COVID pandemic, only one of these water parks has been open at a time, so you will receive free admission to whichever one is open at the time of your arrival.
One side note: If you are planning to do a split stay between Disney hotels, which means staying at one Disney hotel at the beginning of your trip, then transferring to another Disney hotel during your trip, you will get this perk again on check in day for the next Disney hotel you move to. It’s a great way to maximize this perk… and it doesn’t cost you anything extra!
