When taking a vacation to Walt Disney World, there’s never an argument regarding which hotels are most magical. The answer will always be one of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels (otherwise known as Disney-owned hotels). Disney owns hotel resorts that fall within three pricing categories: Value (the cheapest of hotels), Moderate (a mix of value and amenities), and Deluxe (the priciest hotels with the most amenities). There are also Deluxe Villas, which are Disney Vacation Club (DVC) rooms. Those are also available for rent by the general public, and are some of the bigger accomodations due to their home away from home purposes.

All of these properties are full of magic, but some have more amenities than others. Which one you should choose will depend on a lot of factors. If you simply need a place to sleep and shower after spending sun up to sundown in the parks, you’ll probably want a Value resort. If you plan to take advantage of amenities at your resort, or if you prefer the most transportation options and not just a bus to the parks, you might pick from another category. Whatever your decision, you can’t miss with a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. You will find the list of these hotels below, along with the category in which they belong.

Many might notice this list’s exclusion of a trio of lodging options that are located on Walt Disney World property. Near EPCOT, the Swan and Dolphin complex (and the nearby Swan Reserve) are prominent hotels that get many of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotel perks. As those properties are located on Walt Disney World property, it is important to note that these hotels are owned and operated by Marriott. As such, they are not actually Disney Resorts Collection Hotels.
